Kommunikation im Alltag

Email vom Chefe an alle:
All – I am proud of how well you represented our lab and our institute yesterday! There were many comments later on about our lab, all positive. Many thanks for all your efforts, especially M. for the posters. Hopefully, this was a learning experience for when you welcome dignitaries to your own labs in the future. We suck at the Scottish line dancing, though.

Antwort von A. (nicht moi) an alle:
Ahem...are my dancing skills being called into question here??!!

Antwort von G. an alle:
I think D. (=Chefe) sucked at scottish line dancing and he wanted to bring the rest of us into it.

Edit 18:05:
Antwort vom Chefe aus der Ferne:
"We suck" referred to the sizable contingent of you who escaped the party before the dancing was in earnest [due to fatigue or general fear of looking foolish on the dance floor]. In terms of actual dancing skills, it seems that i have struck a sensitive issue and look forward to seeing A. and G. perform next time around. G. is correct that I was probably the worst neophyte trying to doce-do and figure 8 while clapping, spinning and trying to avoid collisions out there.
